Dell’s new Xps 27 All In One sure looks pretty, but is it any good? find out in the review below
LinusTechTips did a reviews of Dell’s newly launched All in One Desktop named the Dell XPS 27, the Xps 27 All In One emphasizes on doing what an All in One Desktop should do and that is remove unnecessary peripherals as it comes with a 10 speaker sound system built-in so you will not need a separate audio system.
The screen on the Xps 27 is gorgeous as it comes with 3840 x 2160 4K IPS Display which is gorgeous and is ideal if you want to do video or image editing which is the main utilization of this All in One as Dell has introduced Canvas Monitor which is their reply to the Microsoft Surface Studio.
The specs of the Dell Xps 27 All In One are impressive as the base model comes with Core i5 6400 processor with onboard graphics and 16 GB of RAM which is impressive for an All in One with a price of $1349 for the base model.
As for peripherals you can find the normal ports you would expect like a DVI out, HDMI out, Gigabit ethernet, 4 USB 3.0 port, 2 USB C ports, micro SD card and headphone jack. It also contains mics which can detect Cortana commands from up to 10 feet away and a front camera that supports Windows Hello.
The Dell Xps 27 is a lot heavier then other All in One’s and the touchscreen version comes at a whopping 37 pounds in weight and the non-touch version comes at 29 pounds, although you can ignore that as you just can place it one a desk and be done with it.
